Life hasn't been an easy one for Hemi. The seven-month-old was living in a neglectful and abusive home when his guardian angel rescued him. When his angel brought him home she noticed he was injured. Though he got around the house okay, he seemed to be in pain.
Testing revealed Hemi had a fractured right femor (thigh bone). The fracture needed to be repaired and required a femoral head and neck excision or FHO (femoral head osteotomy) surgery. That was when his guardian angel came to Labrador Life Line for help.
Due to the continued support of Labrador Life Line's generous donors, we were able to help fund some of Hemi's surgery and give him a new beginning in his forever home.
