Like any loving parent, Mom was willing put the needs of her ten-year-old before her own.
For past six months, the yellow Lab Elway had a mass on the third digit of his right paw. Despite an aggressive antibiotic treatment program, the vet said the time had come, and Elway required surgery. The surgery meant amputation of the digit.
According to Mom, the amputation would not slow him down. Elway loved nothing more than hanging out with neighbor's dog and acting like puppy. The vet agreed and said prognosis with removal was good.
That was when Mom came to Labrador Life Line for help. Mom loved Elway more than anything but just couldn't afford his operation. She was using her tax refund (money she desperately needed for herself and her needs) for Elway's care and treatment.
Once more, because of our donors, we can help Labs like Elway get the medical care they need. Because of you, Elway will once again, run with the other dogs.
