Takoda was struck by a car and suffered from a long list of injuries. His right hind leg was was fractured, requiring extensive surgery to fix it. Surgery would insert screws and plates. He also had a dislocated hip on the same leg. This would require FHO (femoral head osteotomy) surgery. He was suffering from open wounds, bruised ribs and bleeding in his lungs.

Though his injuries were severe and extensive, none were life-threatening. Takoda needed surgeries.

His family took him to one vet to another. looking for one they could afford. That was when Takoda's family came to Labrador Life Line for help.

The vet repaired Takoda's leg, and the hip was put back in place, hoping it will stay.

Through your generous donations and continued support, Labrador Life Line can continue to help Labs like Takoda and their families. Thank you.
