Sampson had a neoplasic tumor (tumors that can occur in different parts of a dog’s body) on his left front paw. Like with any growth, Sampson's vet was concerned it could be cancerous. He scheduled Sampson to undergo amputation of the compromised digits only.
His owner came to Labrador Life Line for help. The vet felt with removal of the compromised digits, Sampson's prognosis was good.
An update from Sampson's family shortly after the surgery said the vet amputated the whole leg because, unfortunately, the cancer had spread.
Thanks to donors like you, Sampson was able to get the surgery he needed.
