When Molly wasn't eating, her owner became worried.
It was time for Molly's yearly visit to the vet. During her exam, a preliminary ultrasound showed Molly had nodules in her liver and she had elevated liver enzymes. However, the vet's machine was poor and did not give a good picture. Because of the poor quality, the vet could not make a diagnosis and ordered another one be taken with the weekly specialist with a better machine.
That is when Labrador Life Line helped. Molly’s owner came to Labrador Life Line to help pay for the additional ultrasound and the biopsy.
Sadly, the ultrasound found cancer not only on her liver, but it had spread. She was given a couple months to live and sent to a holistic vet to help manage the pain.
Because of our many supporters, the specialist was able to diagnose Molly's condition, and make her last few months as comfortable as they could be.
