Maxwell's pelvis injury was discovered during a follow-up visit to the vet for suture removal and a cast change for a broken leg after being hit by a car.
Upon reexamination of his injuries, the vet determined the pelvis broke again and needed surgical plating. His owners came to Labrador Life Line for help.
Labrador Life Line received this message shortly after his surgery.
Max is resting peacefully. He wants so badly to play, but he has to be crated all day. I do take him out, of course, to do his business and his caged area is by the slider so he can see the wild life. We live in the country so there's a lot to see. At night, he gets to sleep by the fire. We are so thankful that Max was able to have his surgery and that we get to have such a cool dog in our family.
Yeah he is something else!! He is resting now. He got two new toys and a bone for being such a trooper at his appointment yesterday.
Thanks to you, our generous donors, Maxwell received his surgery and got another chance at life.
