Maximus first came to need Labrador Life Line's help lin 2010 when he required emergency surgery because of a blockage. He had lost ten pounds in only a few days. When the surgeon opened him up, they found a sock was the cause of the blockage.
Almost a year later, Maximus again needed Labrador Life Line's help when he had another obstruction that required immediate exploratory, and possible laparotomy, surgery. The culprit: another sock.
Thanks to continued support from our generous donors, we were able to help Maximus in his time of need. Hours after his emergency surgery, the vet reported they removed two feet of intestine.
