Josephine was suffering from chronic ear infections in both ears. Left untreated, the infections can lead to calcification (heavy scarring.)

Dogs that suffer from long-term ear infections, can, and often do, develop irreversible damage to their ear canals and middle ears. In the most severe cases, the ear drum ruptures and the dog requires both ear ablation and bulla osteotomy surgery. Josephine's condition required surgery in both of her ears.

That's when Animal Rescue New Orleans came to Labrador Life Line for help.

Thanks to you, our generous donors, Josephine was able to get the surgery she needed to get well. Josephine can now look forward to moving into a new forever home. The rescue had a family waiting to take her home after she fully recovered
