With every step three-year-old chocolate Lab Jeter took, his right leg would crack. Jeter had torn the cranial cruciate ligaments (CCLs).
Jeter's vet wanted to perform TTA, or tibial tuberosity advancement surgery. The surgery is a modified version of the more commonly performed TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) surgery.
His family was unable to afford the surgery. They came to Labrador Life Line for help.
A few weeks after his surgery, we received this update from his grateful family.
Pick up was smooth, he is an old pro! It seems like he knows what is going on and knows what or how he needs to act to heal properly. :) We had a check up today and they removed his cast, now Jeter thinks he is back to running already. Lol. The doctor said he healing great, we have to come back next week!
Thanks to you, our generous donors, were able to fund Jeter's operation.
