A month after her first birthday, Jayda darted into the street and was hit by a car. Jayda received multiple fractures, including a broken right leg and hip. The hip required plate fixation on both sides.
That was when Jayda's owner came to Labrador Life Line for assistance.

Jayda is doing well. She had some weakness still but is going to start underwater treadmill therapy.
Thanks to Labrador Life Line's generous donors, Jayda was able to have her surgery and was back home with her family where she continued on her road to recovery.
