Jake's life with his new family got off to a rough start. Within a week of coming home, the four-a-half month old black lab puppy was hit by a car. Diagnosed with a fractured right femur, and because of his young age, the vet felt Jake was an excellent candidate for pinning surgery.
Thanks to the generous friends of Labrador Life Line, Jake's was able to have his surgery.
