Like all young Labs, two-year-old Dozer was full of spunk and life. He loved riding in the back of the pick-up truck. One day something caught his eye. Forgetting he was in a moving truck, Dozer sprang into action.

Dozer suffered serious injuries including severe road rash, fluid retention in his abdomen, and had trouble urinating.  The vet recommended the fluid be drained as soon as possible. Dozer's injuries also would require that his tail be amputated.

Because of the continued support and generosity of our donors, we were able to help Dozer with his tail amputation and fluid removal. His vet said Dozer's prognosis was good.

Not long after helping Dozer, Labrador Life Line received this message.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on Dozer. He had his surgery yesterday and is home now. He is recovering well and now has the cutest little nub on his toosh. We can not thank you enough…..You guys are so amazing and we are ecstatic to have Dozer on the road to recovery. Thanks to Labrador Life Line, Dozer can now live the happy healthy life that he deserves!
