Blitzen's owner came to Labrador Life Line for assistance after the four-year-old chocolate Lab had lost most of his hair due to severe allergies. The vet wanted to do allergy testing and placed Blitzen on Atopica, hoping to relieve some of his discomfort. Depending on the test results, allergy vaccines we on the horizon.
That was when Blitzen's owner asked Labrador Life Line for help.
Thanks to kind donors to Labrador Life Line, Blitzen was able to get the tests he needed.

"I just want to thank you for working hard to get Blitzen the help he needed. He is now on his allergy shots. He was HIGHLY allergic to dust mites (of all things). We're on the red top serum, and he's responding great! His itchiness has dramatically decreased! He even has a little bit of hair growth on his chest that wasn't there before. I have an air purifier for him now to remove dust mites, as well as weekly vacuuming, to help reduce the allergens. He seems so much happier than he has been in a LONG time! Even his itchy/yeasty ears are down to a minimum as well. I'm so excited. And I just wanted to let you know he's doing well and I thank you sooo much for helping me get him to this point! Not sure what the next step is after this and how many more allergy shots he needs but, he's doing great and I'm so happy to finally see some relief for him. I'm sure he'll be a happy and healthy little Lab from here out!!!!
