Sadly, many dogs are severely injured or killed every year when they are hit by cars.
Four-year-old black beauty Baby was struck by a car and sustained a severely broken scapula. In extreme pain with every move she made, Baby’s skin around the injury became inflamed and began to die. The inflamed skin caused numbness and neurological damage to her leg.
That was when her loving family, desperate to help their four-legged family member, came to Labrador Life Line. Without funding support from Labrador Life Line, Baby would be euthanized.
With funding support from Labrador Life Line, Baby underwent debridement surgery to determine if the inflammation was causing the numbness in her
Once again, when financial difficulties make the difference between life and death, Labrador Life Line was there and able to offer assistance. Thanks to the continued support and generosity of Labrador Life Line’s donors, Baby received her much deserved second chance at life.
But sadly, even with all the hope and support Labrador Life Line provides, it's sometimes not enough. In constant pain, Baby fought the valiant fight until she crossed Rainbow Bridge.
