Kona was been diagnosed with FCE (fibrocartalaginous embolism) and is paralyzed from the waist down. He is unable to control his bladder and must be slung to get around. The vet's reccommended treatment was electroacupuncture, herbs, and physical therapy and said he would have a very good chance for a decent recovery as this will hopefully connect the nerve endings faster.
