Eleven-year-old Bear is the closest thing to a therapy dog of any Lab we've assisted. Her disabled owner applied to Labrador Life Line because Bear began limping from an old cruciate injury. Bear's limp, however, turned out to be the least of her concerns. She began collapsing and was finally diagnosed with erlichiosis and required several days of emergency care. Without your help, Bear would not have gotten the care she needed, and she would no longer be able to act as her owner's sole companion and helper.
