Jack was hit by an SUV traveling around 50 mph. Both of his hips had become unstable - they had 'popped out' of their sockets. Efforts from doctors at the first clinic to reset them were unsuccessful, so he was transfered to MSU-CVM. The orthopedic surgeon at the MSU-CVM stated that Jack needed bilateral artificial ligament replacements in order to keep the hip joints in place and secure. (similar to hip replacement surgery - both sides.) Thanks to your caring and generosity we were able to help with the costs for Jack. They are confident that Jack will recover and will likely have approximately 90% use of both legs after recovery.
Jack Update 02/2009

Jack required several surgeries but as you can see, he is doing quite well!!
