Gypsy was hit by a van after going through a screen door after something (cat or squirrel). The vet thought just a cast would be enough for Gypsy’s case but after a few weeks, the cast has come off and that assessment changed. Gypsy presented with a large callous and a significant valgus deformity of the distal leg. Made possible by Labrador Life Line's generous donors, the vet placed an external fixation device (Kirschner apparatus) on the front for several weeks so it could heal properly.
