Duke is a six year old black boy who was found him rummaging through the garbage at a local strip mall. When they checked into his background local animal control told them that his previous family no longer wanted him, so they took him in and made him a part of their family. Unfortunately Duke was also in need of a double cruciate repair. Although usually these surgeries are done one after the other in this case the vet recommended both surgeries at the same time as the pain during recovery would be no more then the pain he was in from his injuries.
Thanks to your caring and generosity we were able to help with the costs for Duke's surgery and he should be able to look forward to many more years with his new family.
