Buddy was adopted from a shelter on 11/17/08 where they did not test for HW. His mom took him to the vet the following day and had a full panel run and also brought him up to date on his vaccinations. She and her daughter were already in love with him so when she found out he had HW, she knew this sweet old boy was definitely worth the trouble and expense of treatment and set out to find a way to pay for it. With the help of Labrador Life Line's wonderful donors, Buddy was able to start his heartworm treatment.
