Buck is a dearly loved ten year old yellow gentleman who had previously been part of a military family. His current family adopted him when the first one was stationed overseas and were unable to take Buck. Since becoming part of this family he has made himself at home with his four human "siblings". He was recently bitten by a poisonous snake and almost died. His leg swelled up, leading to cellulitis and edema, and he became anemic. He was first taken to an emergency vet hospital but the cost of care was unaffordable, so he was transferred to a different veterinary practice where he has received 24 hour care. He has been given IV fluids with a variety of antibiotics and pain medications, and he’s had necessary blood work done because his clotting ability was impaired. Due to the extent of the care Buck required, and the costs involved being beyond their means, Buck's family came to Labrador Life Line for some assistance and thanks to your support we were able to be there for them.
