Jiggs is a three year old chocolate boy who has found his forever home after being turned over to rescue. When he first found his new family it was thought that his limp was primarily weight related, however after his diet started to work and his limp did not resolve his vet checked further and discovered he had a torn ACL which would need surgery to repair. His new family had already over extended themselves with the costs of care for their other dogs, and came to us for assistance with the costs of the needed surgery. His human told us that the day after his surgery he was already using the leg, and the family looks forward to his regaining his strength and enjoyng his life with them.
