2007 Hannah 1

Hannah is a seven yar old yellow girl who had a tough start in life. She was one of the dogs involved in the Heart of Texas rescue effort back in 2000, and her human has found her to be a wonderful companion since. She has had a problem with one eye for a while now, although her vet has been unable to pinpoint the actual original source of the problem. Regardless, she needs to have that eye removed, and her person was unable to afford the required surgery. Hannah's human came to us for assistance with the surgery costs, and thanks to you we are able to help out. Hannah has to complete a course of antibiotic treatment prior to the surgery, but once that is done she can have that treatment and get on with recovery.

In January 2008 we received the following update from Hannah's people:
It's been a year now since we started talking about Hannah... and last year this time I did not think she would be with us for another Christmas. Thanks to all of ya'lls help she has recoverd and is doing just great with one eye. She plays alot and loves to go on her evening walk.
and this picture was included... another happy ending!
