Beckett is a two year old black boy who was discovered abandoned outside of a local police station and taken into a shelter... it was however a kill shelter and he was subsequently turned over to rescue with the Atlanta Dog Squad. His injuries were severe, enough so that initially it was thought he would have to have a leg amputated... thanks to the skill of his vet they were lucky enough to save the leg and treat his other injuries however the costs for doing so were higher then the rescue group could actually afford. Thanks to your support we were able to help out and this black fellow is on the road to recovery.
