Annie is an 8 year old girl who was adopted from a shelter to be a companion. When she started having issues getting in and out of her new person's vehicle she went to the vet and they found she had a torn ACL. Annie's new person had not expected this expense, and as a senior herself she simply did not have the funds needed for the surgery.
