2006 Snowball

Snowball is a two year old yellow girl who has become the main friend and companion of her human now that his children have grown and moved on with their lives. She was displaying symptoms that initially looked like she had a portosystemic (liver) shunt, but on further investigation by a specialist it seems a better suspect was hepatitis - possibly triggered by hormonal influences during a previous pregnancy.

Snowball's human came to us for some help in funding the treatment that his best friend needed, and thanks to your support we were able to assist. The board of Labrador Life Line and Snowball's human wish to thank you for this support - Snowball is on the road to recovery in part due to you.

In an update from Snowball's person in March of 2008 we received:

This is just a note to let you know she is still with me and doing fine. She has put on about 20 pounds and is eating regular food. I want to thank you again for your help.
