Marshmellow is a 6 year old yellow girl, in rescue with Labrador Rescuers. Marshmellow arrived at the vet clinic with severe pneumonia. On diagnostic testing they found she had splenic myelolipoma - an infection of the spleen. Also discovered were infection abscesses in the abdomen that needed to be removed. Surgery was done basically immediately to allow the dog to survive. She had a splenectomy, a mass removal and the abscesses were drained and sterilized. Once Marshmellow recovers from all of her much needed medical treatment I'm sure she'll be able to find a forever home.
