Ranger is a four year old yellow boy who was rescued from a shelter by CCLRR in November. When Ranger was rescued, he had to go to an Urgent Care Center as he had an large sore on his back right leg. The vet determined the sore was from a spider bite. This bite had turned into an abscess with necrotic surrounding tissue. Ranger was in the center for a few days and given large amounts of antibiotics. They also performed a skin graft, which unfortunately did not take, but he is healing very well now.
