Jett is a three year old black boy who rescued by an AR*RUFF volunteer from Benton Animal Control. Jett was been diagnosed with Ehrlichia and a Left Femoral Head Fracture. He will require both treatment of the Ehrlichia and surgery (Left Femoral Osteotomy). The surgery is not to repair the fracture, since it was an old injury when diagnosed... it is intended to reduce the pain associate with arthritis that develops secondary to injuries to the femoral head. Jett's prognosis is very good.
AR*RUFF has approached both LabMed and Labrador Life Line to assist with the costs of Jett's treatment - it is expected he will make a full recovery and will be able to be adopted out once he has been neutered and has recovered from his surgeries.
Thank you from Labrador Life Line - Jett, and dogs like him, are the true recipients of your generosity!
