Roadie is an approximately 1 year old black boy who was picked up on the side of the road by a good Samaritan. He was taken to a veterinarian, and an orthopaedic surgeon was called in to repair his broken pelvis. They then contacted DFW Lab Rescue to foster him and find a home for him. Although the veterinarian clinic discounted their services the surgery costs were still significant, so DFW rescue asked us for assistance with those costs. Roadie is on his way to recovery and will be looking for a forever home thanks to his good Samaritan, the vet clinic and the caring folks at DFW Rescue.
Roadie is doing well and attending our meet-n-greet booths at local pet stores. He has certainly bonded with his foster mom and is VERY well behaved. We know we will find the perfect family for him! Thank you for helping us continue our mission of saving labradors in need!
Labrador Life Line would like to thank you for your support. You are the reason we can assist with the needs of dogs like Roadie.
