2004 Mandy

Mandy is a 10 year old black labby who has been a Certified Assistance Dog for the past 8 years to a woman suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. Mandy has been such a hard worker that by the time she was 10 months old she had acquired 2 legs on her CD, she has also assisted her human through a double mastectomy, chemo & radiation. She is truly a best friend to her human!

Mandy had been in perfect health until the beginning of October, when she began loosing weight and not wanting to leave the house. By the first of November, Mandy had lost 12 lbs. The vets were not sure what was wrong, but have now determined that she is suffering from pancreatitus. These vet bills have put a severe strain on her human, who survives on disability alone.

Since Mandy has provided her person with the help that was needed for her to survive at the daily rate that you and I function without thought... her human requested assistance from Labrador Life Line on Mandy's behalf to assist with the costs associated with the treatment that Mandy so needed. Labrador Life Line would like to thank you for your support - dogs like Mandy are the recipients of your generosity.
