Maddie is an 8 month old chocolate girl who was left at the vet clinic by her previous owners (she had been hit by a car a month previously) after they found out she was going to have to have her leg amputated. They left her because they did not want a "3-legged dog". The clinic then contacted a local rescue, Southern Paws Rescue, because they felt she was a very adoptable dog, even with only 3 legs.
Southern Paws has brought Maddie up to date on vaccinations and put her on heart worm preventative. After she heals from the amputation, they will have her spayed and she will then be ready to look for her forever home - everyone thinks Maddie will find one!
Maddie update - just look at that labbie grin after she had her surgery!

Labrador Life Line would like to Thank You for your support - dogs like Maddie are the recipients of your generosity!
