Jory is an approximately 3 year old black fellow who was found by a good Samaritan on the highway after being hit by a car. He was taken into a local shelter which then contacted Heart of Texas Lab rescue as they did not have the facilities to manage his injuries. Jory had a dislocated hip, and a fractured femur, and was found to be heartworm positive determined to have hip dysplasia.
Jory has already had the surgery to repair his dislocated hip and broken leg, and will still need heartworm treatment and to be brought up to date on in vaccinations. He will be neutered as soon as his health allows. Heart of Texas Lab Rescue have done significant fund raising on Jory's behalf, and have applied to us and to LabMed for assistance with the costs of his various treatments. Jory has had many applicants apply for him so once he recovers finding him a forever home will not be difficult.
Thank you from all of the
members of the board at Labrador Life Line for your support! Dogs like Jory so
often don't have the second change that you have helped to provide for him.
