"The fracture was a long oblique fracture with cranial displacement. There was also a non-displaced fracture of the left acetabulum. Ciela was treated with a threaded intramedullary bone pin placed in a retrograde fashion into the femur. Good stabilization was achieved with the single pin so no cerclage wires were placed. The acetabular fracture was not treated since it isn't displaced and she isn't bearing full weight on the left hind leg."
Ciela's humans are both college students with a young son... they found Labrador Life Line when looking for assistance with the funding needed for her surgery. As always, we know that the true source of the assistance is all of you, and we wish to Thank You once again for your continued support. You are the real heart of Labrador Life Line and we could not do this without you!
