Chico is a young (3 month old) yellow fellow who was recently rescued and re-homed by the applicants, he kept getting loose from his previous owners and coming over to their house. One day he came over and part of his tail was missing, he had been chewing it. They immediately went over to ask the previous owners what had happened and if they were going to do anything about it.
They found out that Chico's previous owners had accidentally run him over with
their car, and no longer wanted him. So the applicants took him to their clinic
and found out the tail needed to be amputated.
While Chico's story,
and particularly the picture of his tail, are not pretty ones, at least he
has found some new people who care about his welfare. Thanks in a
very large part to your ongoing support we were able to help with the
costs involved in the surgery that Chico needed, and his future looks ever
so much brighter with his new humans. Because we are so aware of
just how much support you do offer us we would like to offer a heart-felt
"Thank You" to all of you for your continued support of
Labrador Life Line.
