Sheeno is an approximately 4 year old male who was brought into a clinic as a stray, after being hit by a car. He presented with a fractured right femur. The clinic was able to contact his owners, but they wanted to have him euthanized. It was decided because he was such a great dog (said one of the vet clinic staff), that she would foster him until he recovered and a forever home could be found. Also the New England lab rescue has his story posted in hopes of helping to find him his forever home.
To date Sheeno has been recovering without complication - he had surgery on back in mid December - and none is to be expected.
Labrador life Line and LABMED co-funded some of the costs involved in Sheeno's hospital stay and surgery. Thanks to you, we are able to continue to provide financial assistance for dogs like Sheeno - and once he has recovered he is certain to find a forever home.
