Grace is a 3 year old girl who was adopted from Calgary Animal Service as
a stray. Grace was playing at the park, coming up a river bank and tore the ligaments in her left
rear leg. She had the same tear in her right rear leg last year. Her humans had used all their
savings for the 1st surgery and Grace healed nicely, they turned to Labrador Life Line for some
assistance with this surgery when it was needed.Update from Grace's humans:
Our girl Grace has had her cruciate surgery and came through it very well! If not for LLL, we could not have done it.
She is now ready to tear around, but must wait 2 more weeks of boring leash walks before the vet gives her okay for off leash carousing!
Our heartfelt thanks go to you and the other board members for giving us the funds to help Grace. It will be a beautiful sight when we can see her run freely again. I get such a kick from seeing labs play together.
