Brooklyn is a young (4-5 months old) chocolate girl. She was picked up by Georgia Lab rescue after a good Samaritan brought her to a shelter. Brooklyn had been hit by a car and had a fractured rear leg. She had surgery and should have her pins out by now. There was some concern about the fracture being to close to the growth plate - which may or may not affect her in the future. Our understanding is the leg may be a little shorter which would cause her to limp, but nothing serious. She has someone who is willing to adopt her, who knows of her accident and is willing to take on any future medical costs. Brooklyn will be spayed at 6 months - she is no more than 4 to 5 months old now and with all she has been through, they want to give her body time to heal before she goes through any additional surgery.
Labrador Life Line and Georgia Lab Rescue would like to extend a "Thank You!" to all of you who support us. Your support is what allows us to help dogs like Brooklyn.
