Sandy became a Jane's furkid about a month ago. She joins another rescue, retired bomb sniffing police lab, Levi. She was not well when Jane adopted her, having been diagnosed with heartworms and she needed to gain some weight before she could even start the heartworm treatment. Jane, who works very hard and has two jobs, was hit by exorbitant vet bills the first week Sandy arrived. She has paid most of these, but needed help with some of the costs of treating Sandy's heartworm treatment. LLL and LABMED kicked in and helped out so she could help Sandy.
Jane says she feels blessed to have Levi and Sandy. Those feelings and help from LLL and LABMED is what will make Sandy a happy and healthy lab again.
