Magnum and Erica

Magnum is a one lucky dog! After being injured for the second time his previous owners decided they didn't want him anymore and asked Linda Rebiger and her family if they would take him. Linda was currently raising a leader dog puppy and really didn't feel she could take Magnum, but she didn't want to see him go to the shelter either. She knew in his condition he wouldn't be adopted. Linda agreed to take Magnum in on a temporary basis and began to look for a Rescue Organization to help her re-home him and get the care he needed for a second TPLO surgery.

While staying with Linda and her family they fell in love with him and so the search for financial help began. Linda contacted both LLL and LABMED and between the two groups Magnum received his surgery and is now on the mend, spoiled and loved by a family who cared enough about someone else's dog to want what was best for him. In this case it turned out to be them! Linda has put up a web page following her experience with Magnum's injury in hopes it may be useful to someone else going through the same thing.
