Lacey

Lacey is a much loved companion for Seth Ahrenholz and Seth's family. Having acquired her in 1999, Seth and Lacey enjoyed a lot of different activities together. While Seth was home from college in December of 2000 he noticed she had started to limp and took her to be checked out by his vet. The diagnosis: an ACL rupture that would require surgery. As a college student, with his family helping both he and his brother through school, Seth needed help to get the care Lacey needed. That's when he contacted LLL.

Lacey received her surgery in March and Seth was able to go home to help care for her during a break. During the procedure the surgeon also repaired a crushed disc and removed several bone spurs . She currently takes cartilage building medications and the Doctors are very optimistic about her having a great recovery and a continued happy and healthy life with her pal Seth.
