Hunter, a young black one year old boy is the typical labrador that can be adopted ten times over due to his gentle nature and his calmness inside and out and being one of the sweetest labradors ever to come into the OK Lab Rescue program according to its director.

Unfortunately, it was found that he was suffering from heartworms. He has been treated successfully for the heartworms and while he was in foster care recuperating, he worked his magic and was adopted in no time, by his foster family!

He is now in his forever home and it has been reported that upon his recheck after treatment, his xrays and blood tests show his heart is completely normal...no change or damage shown to his heart. He has now been started on monthly heartworm preventative and he will undergo another blood test in 90 days. He is healthy and has gained weight now too.

He is very attached to his new family and just loves everyone. Best of all his new family says, is that he can now run and play freely as he wishes with no restraints.

Labrador Life Line is proud to have been able to play a role in Hunter's treatment and recovery. Thank you all for your most generous support of LLL. Without you, we could not have done this!
