Duke was found with a broken back and taken to a nearby veterinarian. Attempts to find an owner were made and when the owners did turn up three days later and found out the condition of their dog, and the care he would need/require, signed an owner release. Cathy & Becky at Rainbow Farms, Inc. heard about Duke and decided that he was 'just made' for Rainbow Farms. Duke is now lives and plays at Rainbow Farms, Inc. He is in excellent health with the exception of his broken back which has paralyzed his back legs. A K-9 cart was the ticket for Duke to lead a fulfilling life. LLL is happy that we were able to fund a cart for Duke. If a forever home isn't found for this wonderful special dog, he will have a forever home at Rainbow Farms where his present owners happily tell of how quickly he adjusted to his cart and how he runs from one end of the farm to the other!
