Buster was rescued from the Little Rock, Arkansas animal shelter. A friendly 18 month old chocolate boy and his 'mate' (who had puppies 10 weeks earlier) were turned out by their owner to be picked up by animal control. When the owner was called about the dogs they told animal control that maybe they'd come get them and maybe they wouldn't. They didn't.
Buster was pulled from the shelter by a local angel who had him checked out, neutered and microchipped. Unfortunately he was found to be heartworm positive. Labrador Life Line (and YOU) made it possible for him to receive heartworm treatment. Buster is now being fostered, regaining his health, so he can find a forever and be someone's special boy!
