Amber was rescued from a kill shelter. She had medial patellar luxation in her right stifle. Her previous owner gave her up rather than attend to her injury and she had little chance of being adopted because of that and the surgery it would require. Luckily the Wolf family heard about this gorgeous 2 year old chocolate girl and took her into their home. They contacted LLL, LabMed and Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Rescue and everyone pitched in to give Amber the help she needed.
Amber came through her surgery wonderfully and has recuperated and is living a happy and healthy life as part of a loving family.
