SamSam was hit by a car and just left on the road. He had no use of his back legs...Lucky for Sam, a Good Samaritan came along and offered him help. She took him to a veterinarian where x-rays revealed a compound fracture of his right tibia and a dislocation of the left hip joint. The tibia fracture was stabilized but the fracture required further ortho treatment due to the loss of bone fragments. He needed to see an ortho specialist.

No one came forward to claim this wonderfully temperamented young labrador boy. Sam was adopted in the meantime before surgery had taken place by a woman and her husband who had just lost their 11yr old beloved boy.

With the help of her personal vet (who went above and beyond to help this labrador and is, himself, a Good Samaritan as well for all that he did to enable this labrador to have a second chance when he could've so easily just put the boy down) and LLL, Sam was able to have the surgery needed and he was given the chance to live a full life in a home where he will be much loved and cared for. Since Sam's surgery he is doing wonderfully in his new home as reported by his new owners.

Labrador Life Line is proud to have been able to play a role in Sam's surgery and recovery. Thank you all for your most generous support of LLL. Without you, we could not have done this!
