Webster's dictionary defines success as:
1. satisfactory completion of something.
2. gaining of wealth and fame
3. one that succeeds.

Because of some very special and caring
people associated with Labrador Life Line, my dog "Katie" had surgery to repair
a damaged front limb. Inflammation and scar tissue began to destroy the carpal area
(wrist) causing the ligaments to tear. Katie, for a long time bore this pain, till there
came a time that simple walking was too much for her 8 year old body. For several weeks,
and many vet visits the problem was diagnosed by the Animal Medical Center in New York
City. Immediate surgery was needed to fuse the joint. If the surgery was performed,
Katie's prognosis was excellent.
Katie was there for me when I had open heart surgery, so there was no
question "if" I'd be there for her. Because of my illness, money was tight.
That's where Labrador Life Line came into play. They provided the means where by Katie got
a new lease on life.
Everyone knows the definition of the word "THANKS"., but not everyone has the
opportunity to understand its deeper meaning. How do you thank a group of people
associated together for a common cause? The only way is to just say it.... THANK YOU!
Often times when life throws its curves, it is easy to be cynical and pessimistic. The
actions of unseen caring people across the country and beyond is what we make of it. That
each little gift we give, when taken collectively, can have a profound effect on peoples
lives, and future events.
So... do I have a success story? " You bet-cha!" And does Labrador Life Line
have one? Collectively and individually.... " You bet-cha!!" Does Katie have a
success story?..... She now has a leg up on all of us!!!
Thank you LLL.
