Pilgrim is a pretty black girl who had the luck to be rescued by a LABSR4U list member from a miserable existence of scrounging for food in a parking lot. Pilgrim was born with congenital anomalies of her bladder that forced her to be constantly incontinent. Initially, her outlook was questionable because of a constant stream of urine from her bladder which could not be chemically controlled. After careful medical examination, it was determined that a surgical correction of the defect would be completely effective. Due to the high costs of Pilgrim's treatment, her foster mom applied for help from a variety of sources. Labrador Life Line, LabMed and the Central Indiana Lab Rescue were all happy to contribute to Pilgrim's medical costs.
