To the board of LLL,
Dear friends,
On behalf of Eastern Ontario Labrador Retriever Rescue,
the staff of the Humane Society of Ottawa-Carleton, and most of all our sweet General, I
am writing to thank you from the bottom of my heart for agreeing to fund General's hip
surgery.
This darling young boy has had a miserable start in life, homeless, abandoned, and injured
when he came to us, but thanks to your generosity he will have the opportunity to live a
normal and pain-free life, with a family who loves him, and with friends and supporters
from far and wide.
General is recuperating now in his foster home, and I am currently reviewing (VERY
CAREFULLY) several applications from families wishing to adopt him. I'll keep you posted
on his progress, and let you know as soon as a decision is made on his adoption.
Once again, a big "THANK YOU" to the board members, for the funding for General,
and for the time and effort you are putting into LLL. And a special vote of thanks to
Deenie for shepherding me through the process!
