Remington is a four month old yellow boy who was born with a liver shunt (a birth defect where major blood vessels bypass the liver and therefore blood is not filtered). This condition can be corrected surgically but that is a relatively expensive undertaking, and his family came to us for some assistance with the costs involved. Thanks to your continued generosity, Remington has had his surgery and is on the road to recovery.
